As an Account Manager (m/f/d) you are an experienced sales professional specializing in developing long-term relationships with customers and driving complex business-IT transformation deals. You possess a deep understanding of cloud and digital services markets, enabling you to identify and craft innovative solutions that deliver tangible business value.
Role Highlights:
- Develop strategies to identify and engage clients, focusing on early-stage opportunities and big deals
- Build compelling value propositions tailored to client needs, leveraging T-Systems' unique capabilities
- Operate at the CxO level to articulate business benefits through persuasive proposals, workshops, and presentations
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor movements to maintain a competitive edge
- Drive transformation by aligning technical solutions with clients' strategic objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor, influencing key stakeholders and building confidence in T-Systems' offerings
- Develop multi-faceted solutions and business transformation roadmaps tailored to client needs
- Deliver impactful presentations and participate in workshops to drive client decision-making
- Maintain agility and resilience in navigating ambiguous or rapidly evolving procurement processes
Your Profile
Core Competencies:
- Proven expertise in spotting new opportunities and translating them into actionable sales strategies
- Broad understanding of cloud ecosystems (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and strategic technologies (Microsoft, AWS, Google, SAP, etc.)
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and negotiation skills with a focus on delivering client value
- Track record of successfully leading high-value transactions (€30m+ TCV)
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while fostering collaboration and innovation
Desired Background:
- Minimum 12 years of IT-related sales experience, with at least 4 years in a top-tier cloud/digital services provider
- Proven experience in handling large enterprise clients within the T-System’s relevant industries
- Proven ability to influence and persuade clients, demonstrated by customer references and sales wins
- Solid grasp of sales methodologies and tools, with a strategic, solution-oriented mindset. Combined with long experience in customer transformation and innovation projects
- Strong ability to use calculation methods in pricing
- Fluent in both German and English, with additional languages being a plus

The Enterprise Deal Architect is part of the Complex Deal Team, leading the solution development in T-Systems offers to the most strategic customers through the most strategic deals. Customers are typically large international conglomerates either in Germany or with a global footprint that will often necessitate international travel.
As an Enterprise Deal Architect, can you lead, orchestrate, and influence solution teams, ensuring successful creation of comprehensive solutions? Solutions that include service integration, transformation, risk, and people, and go beyond technology towers to include partner capabilities and innovation.
