Your tasks

  • Strategic Leadership. Develop and lead the sovereignty consulting practice, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory landscapes. • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on sovereignty-related topics, offering expertise in data governance, cloud sovereignty, and cross-border data management.
  • Client Engagement and Advisory. Partner with clients to understand their data sovereignty challenges and provide tailored solutions. • Deliver workshops, assessments, and strategic roadmaps for compliance with regional sovereignty regulations such as GDPR, Schrems II, or national data localization laws.
  • Regulatory Expertise. Monitor and interpret evolving regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions. • Advise clients on the impact of legal frameworks, including data privacy laws, cybersecurity regulations, and sector-specific mandates.
  • Cloud and Technology Sovereignty. Guide clients on implementing sovereign cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulatory frameworks. • Collaborate with cloud providers, IT teams, and vendors to design and deploy secure and compliant architectures.
  • Team Leadership and Development. Build and lead a high-performing team of sovereignty consultants. • Mentor team members to deepen expertise in data sovereignty, compliance, and governance.
  • Business Development. Identify new business opportunities, expand consulting services, and drive revenue growth in the sovereignty practice. • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote sovereignty consulting services.
  • Thought Leadership. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and panels, positioning the company as a leader in sovereignty consulting. • Publish articles, white papers, and reports on sovereignty trends, challenges, and solutions.

Your Profile

  • Experience: 10+ years in consulting, with at least 5 years focusing on data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, or cloud governance.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of global and regional regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, Schrems II, national data localization requirements).
  • Leadership: Proven track record of building and leading consulting teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with sovereign cloud solutions, data governance tools, and IT infrastructure.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex regulatory and technical issues to diverse stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, IT, Business Administration, or related fields. Certifications in data privacy (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPT) are a plus.
