Your tasks
As a Flexikant (m/f/d), you will complete your voluntary internship and benefit from attractive remuneration and flexible working hours. You will support the team in the following responsible tasks:
- Implement an AI-driven Intent-Based Networking concept in a prototype network scenario.
- Translate “user intents” into concrete network configurations using Python or similar.
- Model complex network topologies according to MEF standards.
- Develop and test automated orchestration solutions with a focus on scalability and real-time adaptation.
- Work independently within a distributed, international team – remotely and on-site if required.
- Apply your expertise in network automation, orchestration, and machine learning directly to a practical research project
Your Profile
You are studying Communication Networks or a comparable degree program or are in your gap year. In addition you have the following knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge in Network Automation and Network Orchestration
- AI and Machine Learning Fundamentals
- Proficiency in programming and scripting, with a strong focus on Python and knowledge in libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- High level of self-motivation, independence, and problem-solving capability

You will join the topic of “Multi-Domain Orchestration”. MDO serves as the central enabler for the cloudification and dynamic evolution of our services.The MDO is used as a lightweight orchestrator for the fully automated provisioning of services and products, linking the BSS systems with the respective domain orchestrators. The MDO includes a service catalog and provides individual function calls for integration into the BSS environment, while also integrating defined, reusable calls into the individual domains.
